Public TV - Direct Access to Public Service, Public Sector and Governmental Videos
Another video site in beta and produced I gather by Bob Geldof's media business. For a demo it's got a fair selection of material despite the "propaganda" feel. Of more interest may be Geldof's proposed "Peace Channel" set to launch within the next year - probably for the box as well as the web.

Farsi-Tube
(via)A version of YouTube in Iran. Could make for some interesting cultural insight, even if prone to censorship.

Viral Videos
A good quick site to view the most popular videos on the web at any given time. Sadly, they don't seem to publish an RSS feed which would make life even easier, so it's a bookmarking job.

Pod-Zinger
by 32 others (via)Although a commercial site, this service is free and very useful. You can choose to search Poszinger's feed index or YouTube directly for videos, but their engine actually looks inside the video files themselves for references. For example, an archived news bulletin might have contained a sub-feature about something you're looking for. The link will lead to the full movie file - even though what you want may not be obvious in the title. I'm getting fed up with RSS feeds that annouce clips with no indication of what they are, so this facility could come in very useful.
